2011 - 2014 Projects
Foothill Window Shutters
In 2011, donations to EVF funded the installation of shutters and a darkening film on the windows and doors at the Foothill Center. This installation allows meetings to darken the room when needed. The Foundation contributed $9,416 to help complete this project.
Vineyard Window Film
In 2012, donations to EVF funded the installation of a darkening film on the windows and doors at the Vineyard Center. This installation enabled meetings to darken the room when needed. The Foundation contributed $2,074 to help complete this project.
Cribari Pool Lift and Cover
In 2014, the EVF contributed to the purchase of a pool lift and lift cover for the Cribari pool. This addition to the pool facility enabled access for handicapped and mobility challenged swimmers. The Foundation contributed $8,390 for the lift and the sleeve cover to complete this project.
Foothill Sound System
In 2014, the EVF participated in upgrading the sound system in Foothill Center by installing a wireless microphone system. The Foundation provided funding of $7,665 to complete the improvement.
Retractable Radio Tower
In 2014, the Amateur Radio Club requested funding from the EVF to update the aged antenna. The antenna enhanced usage by Radio Station Club members and provides us with upgraded communications during a major disaster. The new system has a retractable antenna minimizing the visual impact to nearby residents. The Foundation provided funding of $14,150 to complete this project.
Radio Club Transmitter
In 2014, the Amateur Radio Club requested funding from the EVF to update their transmitter. The upgrade provides us with improved communications during a major disaster. The Foundation provided funding of $5,875 to complete this project.
