Clubhouse Efficiency Project
Have you ever stepped into a museum, art gallery or historic chapel and noticed how you just automatically drop the volume of your voice? Somehow a beautiful, gently lighted environment just sets a different mood. Through donations by Villagers to the Evergreen Villages Foundation, the Clubhouse renovation included several lighting features: spots to highlight the new artwork, elegant hanging fixtures in the dining room, and dimmers to reduce the amount of light for evening dining and special events. Now, when the sun goes down and we can’t enjoy our gorgeous golf course views, we’ll have a wonderful view inside.
We have now had our beautiful updated dining room for a while and can appreciate the time, effort, and funds that were required. There were many needs in the kitchen area that only the employees can appreciate, remodeling, updating, replacements and of course walls moved, new furniture and floors. But the ambiance of light fixtures and the wonderful paintings that completed the overall effect, the warm atmosphere was because of our Evergreen Foundation. We are so fortunate to have residents that do not just make the talk, but make the difference.
Thank You from a grateful resident. Donna Roberson

How Cool!

Your Foundation dollars are not always visible but they are always powerful! As part of the Clubhouse renovation, the Foundation paid for several pieces of equipment including a new ice machine. Now our servers can spend their time with patrons rather than lugging heavy buckets of ice from the main kitchen. How Cool!

Renovation of the walk-in cooler in the Bistro $25,000
Ice Machine $3000
